Isaac's Aircraft
Isaac’s Aircraft is a four-piece indie Rock band from the university town, Cambridge, UK. In 2006, the band originally started as a trio of Zak Thomas (vocals, rhythm guitar), Martin Seidel (keys) and James Lane (drums, percussion) and they wrote and recorded songs that they released on their first EP in 2007, Holding Up The Line. Shortly after the release, the band welcomed Calum Fall (lead guitar) to the band, to add a new dimension to their sound. During this period, they also acquired a large following in Cambridge through extensive live performances. The following year, the band was signed to Crash Records, who released their first single, “Friends and Foes.” The song reached the top 30 of the UK Indie Singles chart and provided them with their biggest success to date. The song was written by Zak and it’s about what could of happened if things had taken a turn for the worse and what It felt like to be back from traveling for an extended period of time. Now the band is looking forward to releasing a new EP early this year, which they have already recorded with producer Paul Tipler, who had previously worked with Placebo, Idlewild and the Charlatans.
