The UK’s Push & Run label, known for their love of unexpected music ranging from Hip Hop to Electro, has three artists, including the brand new single "Pressure" by U.T.R.B Cardiff's U.T.R.B, which stands for Until The Ribbon Breaks, is a mysterious band that can’t be pigeonholed into any one genre, a la Gnarls Barkley. The brains behind U.T.R.B is Pete Lawrie, who until now, has been writing songs under his birth name and producer extraordinaire Rollo Armstrong (Faithless, Dido, One Eskimo). The track contains elements of various styles including R&B, Soul, Electro and influences with some early adapters comparing it to The Weeknd and is slowly finding its way onto specialty radio in the U.S. . If "Pressure" is any indication of what U.T.R.B has to offer, then Push & Pull have much success in their near-future.
