Some of the new acts signed to the label include Smith & Thell, Mayka, Emma Bates, Materikaa and Flip with more signings to be unveiled in the coming weeks.

Adrian Lux, Alesso, Icona Pop, Niki & The Dove, Albin Myers, Minilogue, John Dahlbäck, Eric Prydz, Style Of Eye, Rebecca & Fiona, Dada Life , these artists continue to get plenty of social media love and are regulars at scenes well beyond Sweden’s borders.
The new label Uniform Beat is spearheaded by Patrik Larsson who is known for being a hard–working music biz personality, long time A&R and manager. “With his musical depth, deep know–how of the industry and mix of local and international insights, Larsson is the perfect candidate to run the new label,” says Jonas Sjöström, MD of Playground Music Scandinavia.
“Our goal is to connect with new, fresh and up–and–coming as well as established talent,” says Patrik Larsson. “I want to work with Scandinavian creators primarily, but also with talent from other parts of the world. We want to bring in, contract, nurture and develop the best possible writers, artists and producers on a global level. Create successful brands and releases, and work across a broad musical scale and not hesitate to mix genres. We want to get involved with electronica, club, dance, techno, dub step, house, urban and pop,” says Larsson. He adds, “By focusing on the true meaning of artist development and by connecting the right producer with the right top–liner, vocalist, remixers, etc. Uniform Beat will set out to create international success stories.”
Thinking outside of the box, ruthlessly mixing styles and genres, crossing boundaries and being on the cutting edge; this is how the label hopes to shorten the journey from the club charts and blog hype to commercial success. “I want to find true personalities – the pop stars of tomorrow and the ones that stand out or have not yet been noticed,” says Patrik Larsson.
Uniform Beat will primarily focus on digital singles and EPs, packed with lots of alternative versions and remixes. The distribution is worldwide through Playground Music and their partner Kontor New Media.

A&R WORLDWIDE’S "ARTIST OF THE WEEK" – KID HUDSON
As a new artist, Kid Hudson already boasts an impressive musical career that includes national and international radio broadcasts, national television appearances, hundreds of live performances, significant social media attention and a strong and loyal fan base. His affinity with music began early, performing live with his older brothers on stage where he demonstrated an uncanny ability to hold a drum beat at the tender age of two. As Kid continued his passion for music, he experimented with a variety of genres including glam–metal, while playing guitar with the band Renegade and back to being a stand–up drummer for the punk rock outfit Runaway Boys, with his brothers Dizzy and Dee. Runaway Boys became an instant cult hit on the punk scene and cracked the charts with their pulsating single, “Fallen Down” before the band suffered the tragic loss of Dee in late 2007 to cancer. Disillusioned by the passing of his brother, Kid withdrew himself from music for a couple of years. Ironically, however, it would be music that would ultimately re–ignite Kid and provide him with the medium to express his hopes, fears and creativity. The band Dreams of Leaving represented a new chapter in Kid’s musical life. The band released their Everytime EP with instant local success, touring nationally and generating plenty of interest in the band’s hijinks through their documented webisodes posted regularly on YouTube. Kid worked tirelessly back in the studio and released his debut solo single “Told You So” Ft. Marcus in July, 2011. The track skyrocketed in sales on iTunes, selling over 3,000 copies, in just 48 hours. The single was picked up by Byron Cooke and Australia's hit music stations such as Fox FM (Melbourne), 2 Day FM (Sydney), B105 FM (Brisbane), 929 FM (Perth), SA FM (Adelaide) and NX FM (Newcastle). Kid has returned with brand new material from his upcoming EP release, featuring the single, “Clouded” (click HERE to listen). For additional information, log on to http://kidhudson.com. Kid is available for signing, licensing, management, booking and licensing in various territories – contact info@anrworldwide.com for more information.

A&R WORLDWIDE’S "VIDEO OF THE WEEK" – MOON VISIONARIES
London–based band Moon Visionaries first burst onto the scene in June 2010 when legendary BBC DJ Steve Lamacq interviewed them on his BBC 6 Music radio show, praising their soulful and cosmopolitan sound and featuring them as his “Unsigned Band Of The Week”. The following month, NME featured Moon Visionaries as their “Breakthrough Band Of The Day” and also named the band's song “In The Green Room” one of five NME Breakthrough Tracks You Have To Hear This Week. At the heart of Moon Visionaries are songwriters Greg Dearing (vocals/guitar) from Salt Lake City, UT and Marco Proietti (guitar, keyboards) from Rome, Italy who produce beautifully crafted songs with fantastic melodies. British drummer Andrew Tipler completes the line–up. The chemistry between the two songwriters is clearly evident in Moon Visionaries' songs, and Marco's production gives the band a unique sound that sets them apart from other bands. Over the past year Greg and Marco have continued writing material for their first album, including the latest track “Getting Out,” which is accompanied by an eye–catching video that should bring them to the attention of A&R’s, industry insiders and record labels. The clip is a throwback to the days of Soul Train, complete with ‘70s outfits, afros and of course, dancing. Moon Visionaries are currently unsigned and are available for a publishing, signing, booking agents and press representation. For more information, please contact Carsten Windhorst at info@frpap.com.
