A&R WORLDWIDE’S "ARTIST OF THE WEEK"– TOM A. SMITH

Despite being just 17-years-old, Sunderland-based newcomer Tom A. Smith has already achieved more than most artists do during their careers. He played his first gig at the age of eight, performed at Glastonbury before he was even in middle school, and Tim Burgess handpicked him to play his stage at Kendall Calling, making him the festival’s youngest ever performer. Tom has played live with Sam Fender and Catfish & The Bottlemen, as well as supported The Lathums and The Mysterines, and is now looking to breakthrough with his brilliant debut single “Wolves.” Produced by Larry Hibbitt (Nothing But Thieves, Sea Girls, The Snuts), “Wolves” channels the same warm and euphoric sound as The Cure’s Robert Smith, as Tom perfectly establishes his rich and soaring direction through a bold and contemporary lens. The song has earned support in its first week of release with Jack Saunders at BBC Radio 1, Radio X, BBC 6Music, KCRW, and Richard Kingsmill at Triple J, in addition to countless adds to official playlists on Spotify, Deezer, Apple Music and many others. A&R WORLDWIDE’S "VIDEO OF THE WEEK" – TYLER PAGE

Born with a powerful and dynamic vocal is 19-year-old Tyler Page. The Cape Town talent has been compared to the likes of Billie Eilish, Lorde and Lana Del Rey and was discovered on social media and signed to alt-pop label Bad Future (James Deacon, Tatum) in mid-2020. Her debut single “Don’t Believe the Aliens” was selected by Fortnite for their Underground Car radio station and included on a number of playlists including Spotify’s Radar Africa and New Music Friday South Africa, Apple Music’s New Music Daily, Future Hits, New In Pop, Alt Pop and Deezer’s New South Africa. Her sophomore single “Kill All The Heroes” reached No.2 on South Africa radio station 5FM’s Indie Chart and has earned global airplay support. Tyler has returned with her ode to the power of love with “Teenage Werewolf.” The track is a coming-of-age fantasy romance with someone who, like a werewolf, changes the person who is falling in love. With a nod to Dua Lipa and production from the team at Bad Future, “Teenage Werewolf” is an addicting song that fits well on any playlist. Earlier this month, Tyler signed with the Warner Music (South Africa) family which felt like a dream finally coming true to her.
