A&R WORLDWIDE’S "ARTIST OF THE WEEK"– JEREMY LOOPS

South Africa’s Jeremy Loops is not only a talented singer, but he’s also a songwriter, record producer and brilliant performer. In addition to music, Loops is an eco-activist; the founder of The Big Food Drive, which has provided nourishing produce to over 200 school children in South Africa during the Covid pandemic, resulting in over 55,000 meals a week. He’s also the founder of Green Pop, which helps plant one tree for every ticket sold to a live show. After earning a reputation for his live shows and his two studio albums, 2014’s Trading Change and 2018’s Critical as Water, Loops returns with his long-awaited album, Heard You Got Love (Decca Records). The brand-new album features Ladsymith Black Mambazo and collaborations with Red Triangle (Charlie Puth, Yungblood), Edd Holloway (Lewis Capaldi, Dean Lewis) and Jake Gosling (Shawn Mendez, The Libertines). The new single “Better Together” was written with Ed Sheeran, who has sold over 150 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling artists in music history. The song was also written with Johnny McDaid (Ed Sheeran, Kodaline) and Steve Mac, who co-wrote Sheeran’s 2017 smash hit “Shape of You.” Jeremy Loops got his first international A&R support via A&R Worldwide, which led to his first ever US showcase performance at MUSEXPO 2013 in Los Angeles, which opened-up some great international opportunities for him (including an all expensed paid multi-city tour of India with MTV/VH1), as well as a sync and licensing deal in the US, and debuted radio support outside of Africa. Listen to “Better Together” HERE and contact Damon Forbes at damon@breakout.co.za for available opportunities with Jeremy Loops.
